Welcome to HLS Lambda!

HLS Lambda is a social and political student organization dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community at Harvard Law School. We play an active role in the national debate on LGBT civil rights by organizing and sponsoring conferences, networking with national LGBT rights leaders, working with the LGBT law clinic on campus, and providing research assistance for LGBT rights organizations involved in high-profile litigation.

Welcome to all incoming students!

We have some great events already in the works for the year, including:
- our Lambda-wide retreat in Provincetown at the end of September,
- our 18th annual OUTLAW dance for the Boston community, and
- several parties with other LGBT groups at the university.

In addition, Lambda maintains an Events Fund so that individual members can plan more informal get-togethers and other LGBT-themed programming. We organize events specifically for women and Lambda members of color and coordinate frequently with another identity-oriented student organizations at Harvard. We’re always looking for new ideas for social events, so let us know your thoughts!

We welcome all LGBTQ students and straight allies to join our email list, and to become a part of HLS Lambda.
